Remarkable are a Tech Accelerator with a mission to empower Disability Tech innovators. They provide the essential training programs, investment opportunities, and invaluable networks needed to launch and grow Disability Tech startups.

Valuing our experience in the disability space and developing accessible brands, Remarkable came to us to refresh their brand and develop a WCAG 2.2 AAA accessible and inclusive brand and compliant website. They knew that their current brand and website was not accessible to the audience they are committed to helping, and the vital information and services they provide were not easily to locate and access.

The first step was for us to conduct a thorough accessibility audit on the brand, assessing current brand guidelines, collateral, digital documents, and the website. From this audit we presented our findings and recommended improvements which included updating logos, colours, fonts, and a refreshed look and feel of the brand to ensure all collateral was WCAG 2.2 AAA level Compliant.

We undertook a full brand refresh and update of collateral and supplied a comprehensive set of brand guidelines with clear instructions for all stakeholders on how to continue to develop materials that follow the rules around accessibility.

We then undertook a thorough website and SEO audit to understand how the users journeyed throughout the site, what were their best performing pages, and what keywords we needed to optimise the new site for. This information was vital in the development of the new site. We worked closely with a WCAG2.2 advisor to ensure the website was built to AA compliance and accessible for screen readers.
