Belrose Public School

Belrose Public School approached Think Creative for help with developing a strategy to assist with increasing enrolments, as the recent changes to catchment areas had affected their student numbers.

After consultation with the Principal Belinda Zorian to understand the issues that the school was facing, and what activities the school was currently doing to increase enrolments, we undertook an audit across the website and Facebook plus looked at what the other local schools that we were competing with were doing. We presented our findings and recommendations for a range of additional activities that we could do to drive awareness of the school to new families moving to the area, and to encourage local kindergartens to promote Belrose Public School.

The campaign kicked off with a refresh of all their marketing materials including the prospectus and the Parent Information booklet, updating the website, and developing a campaign to increase Kindergarten enrolments for 2024 across social channels and internal Facebook groups. To reduce costs, under our guidance the school implemented some of the recommendations and Think Creative did the rest.

We undertook an audit of their website and their Facebook account and developed a strategy that covered both paid and organic social, a plan to increase Google and Facebook reviews that the admin team was tasked to do, plus a list of local activities to undertake. We also fixed up the issues of duplicate Facebook pages which were causing confusion for parents. We updated the website with new images and content and video to make it more engaging. We were limited to the amount of new functionality that we could add to the site due to the limitation of the schools’ web platform, however, the addition of new creatives, copy, and video has made a world of difference to what was previously there.

The Think Creative team did a full day film shoot including drone, to produce a beautiful 3 min introduction to the school that we also used on social to promote the school to new families moving to the area. We managed the entire process from script writing, shoot planning, production and management.
