Whiteley is a leading global innovator in medical infection prevention and professional hygiene solutions. Whiteley came to Think Creative to develop a new website and develop a digital strategy to grow the business. The project kicked off with the development of a new wesbite to incorporate their 2 sites, Whiteley Direct and Whiteley corporate. The new website needed to suit a range of audiences, distributors, those who wished to buy online plus those looking for the Whitely LMS Education system. The new Whiteley website featuring Whiteley Direct was launched in June 2022.
Whilst the website was being developed, we undertook to develop and implement an SEO audit, strategy and implementation plan to bring in important organic traffic in key focus areas such as infection prevention control & hand sanitisers & wipes.
Once the new website was live we implemented a full digital marketing retainer to drive important traffic and sales to the site.
Previously, Whiteley’s Infection Prevention products were sold via distributors and by contacting the Whiteley sales team directly. To address this they required a platform that attracted both distributors and end users. A new dual-purpose eCommerce website was needed to appeal to both customers wanting to purchase products online, those looking to find a distributor and to also allow customers to enrol in the number on online courses Whiteley offers.
A new eCommerce website was developed, expanding the existing model to include Whiteley Direct online sales, aligning it as a valuable extension to the existing process with the goal of making online purchasing an integral part of finding new audiences and growing sales.
A full content marketing strategy was also developed which revolved around creating a new strategy to relaunch Whiteley Direct with a core focus on Infection Prevention products. It also dedicated a percentage of strategy to brand awareness showcasing the Whiteley brand and highlighting the name behind the array of well-known products such as Viraclean and Bactol. The brand strategy leveraged Whiteley’s existing reputation, history of innovation, and position as a leader in infection prevention and control.
