Apex Tool Group is a global manufacturer of hand and power tools used by professionals, serious home hobbyist and DIY enthusiasts. With 6 brands in their portfolio their products cater to a broad mix of industries including vehicle service, construction, electronics, aerospace, electronics and industrial applications.
Apex Tool approached Think Creative to develop and implement an organic social media strategy across two platforms, Facebook and Instagram for their two primary brands, Crescent and GEARWRENCH. The goal of the social media strategy was to build brand value, grow brand awareness, engage new audiences and build better quality traffic to the respective brands websites.
We started with a discovery session with the Apex Tools team to deep dive into each brands products, target industries, target audience and analysis of past social campaigns and their effectiveness.
Working a month in advance we create a comprehensive content calendar, design the posts using static and video assets, and once approved post and monitor twice a week per brand. With tracking and analytics in place, we continuously measure and optimise weekly to ensure we are hitting the goals and adjusting messaging to reflect changing business needs.
