Role Overview

As a Senior Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of web projects. You will work closely with our development and design teams to ensure our projects are not only visually appealing but also user-friendly and accessible. Your expertise in digital design, front-end technologies, and code languages will be instrumental in bringing our digital projects to life.

Key Responsibilities

– Design and develop visually compelling and user-friendly websites, applications, and digital assets.

– Collaborate with the development team to ensure design consistency and integration with backend technologies.

– Proficient in a variety of design tools to create high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.

– Stay abreast of the latest trends in web design, UX/UI, and front-end technologies to continuously improve our digital offerings.

– Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance across various devices and browsers.

– Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.

– Work closely with clients to understand their vision and provide creative solutions that meet their business objectives.

– Mentor junior designers and contribute to the team’s knowledge sharing and skill development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.

– 5+ years of experience in web design and front-end development.

– Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript

– Strong skills in digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma).

– A solid understanding of web standards, responsive design, and accessibility principles.

– Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.

– Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.

– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

– A portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and front-end development projects.

– Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Drupal or Shopify.

– Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring designs comply with these standards.

– Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
